FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for performing controlled alkaline treatments of inorganic porous solid particles, in particular to a method for increasing the meso-porosity of zeolite, which consists of one treatment followed by a solid separation stage, such as a filtration stage, zeolite treated by the specified method, a method for preparing a technical catalyst, and the use of treated zeolite or a technical catalyst prepared using the specified method in catalysis processes or in adsorption or ion exchange processes. The method for increasing the meso-porosity of zeolite includes stages of: a) preparation of zeolite in the amount ms; b) preparation of a base in the total amount mb,total; and c) contact and interaction of this zeolite with the base in the amount of mb(t) in an aqueous solution at a temperature from a room temperature to 100°C and pH from at least 10 to at most 14, wherein the base is continuously added to zeolite for a period of time Δt for the total amount of the base mb,total of at least 15 s, thereby obtaining treated zeolite. Moreover, the maximum value mb,max/ms of the amount of the base mb(t) brought into contact with inorganic porous solid ms at any time t at the stage c) is less than mb,total/ms, wherein the total amount of the base mb,total is provided in the form of solid alkali or alkaline solution, and where the maximum value mb,max of the amount of the base mb(t) at any given time t at the stage c) is at most 0.75*mb,total. The method for preparing a technical catalyst contains stages of: preparation of treated zeolite by the specified method; addition of one or more additional ingredients to form a mixture, and molding of this mixture into a macroscopic mold in order to obtain a technical catalyst.

EFFECT: development of an efficient process leading to excellent physicochemical and catalytic properties and not adversely affecting the size of particles and crystals.
