FIELD: sensing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical measurements of non-electrical quantities, in particular displacements, and can be used in systems for monitoring the technical condition of buildings and structures. The displacement sensor contains a housing, a measuring element in the form of a string with constant tension, a movable element that perceives movement by means of rods connected to the first movable tip made in the form of a hollow cylinder with holes in the ends of the cylinder in which a string is installed with the possibility of moving along a sliding fit, highlighting a section of a string of constant length inside the cylinder. The first string tension converter into an electrical signal is located on the cylinder generatrix of the first tip in its middle part. Under the first working section of the string, located outside the cylinder of the first tip, there is a second converter mounted on the body of the displacement sensor. Under the second working section of the string, located outside the cylinder of the first tip, there is a third converter. Between the body of the displacement sensor and the second movable tip in the preloaded state there is a spring, with external centering, ensuring its spatial position.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of measurement of displacement.
