FIELD: electrical measurements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical measurements of displacements in systems for monitoring the technical condition of buildings and structures. The displacement sensor comprises a body, a measuring element in the form of a string with constant tension, a movable element, a first movable tip in the form of a hollow cylinder, a first string tension transducer, a second transducer is placed under the first working section of the string. The third transducer is located on the inner generatrix of the cylinder of the second movable tip, the second movable tip is in the form of a hollow cylinder with a rack-type ratchet fixed on it, the pawl and the clamping spring of which are fixed on the displacement sensor housing. On the inner generatrix of the second movable tip there is one, and on the inner generatrix of the first movable tip there are two electromagnets, each of which consists of a coil, a ferromagnetic core with a rigid non-magnetic gasket, a movable armature with a rigid non-magnetic gasket and a spring, a longitudinal through groove is made in the sensor housing for passage of the rod rigidly connecting the first movable tip with the movable element.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of displacement measurement.
