FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: topological rotary engine contains the first and the second transmission mechanisms, a valve mechanism, rotor (13), and cylinder (9). The cross-section of rotor (13) is a topological polygon with curvilinear sides, having n sides, and the cross-section of an inner chamber of cylinder (9) is a topological polygon with curvilinear sides, having n+1 sides, while a radius of a rounded bevel of the cross-section of rotor (13) is equal to a radius of a rounded bevel of the cross-section of the inner chamber of cylinder (9), and n is an even number, which is greater than or equal to 4. In the rotation of rotor (13) during one cycle, each of n+1 chambers (12) sequentially perform n/2 times of air intake, compression, operation, and air release, wherein a turning speed of rotor (13) is n values of a rotation speed of rotor (13), and the turning speed of rotor (13) is identical to engine output revolutions. Each cylinder (9) contains nozzle (10) and spark plug (11).
EFFECT: improvement of combustion efficiency, and reduction in emissions.
