FIELD: storage technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for the transportation and storage of water, liquid mineral fertilizers, acid and salt solutions, mineral oils, diesel fuel, agrochemical solutions and other liquids that are not aggressive to the material from which the plastic container is made. The plastic container for transporting and storing liquids contains three main segments: upper, middle and lower, respectively, with the upper segment consisting of a neck, and the lower segment representing the bottom. The upper segment has a spherical shape with the main large hemisphere in the center and four quarter spheres at the corners, divided into eight mounting platforms for additional equipment and fittings. The mounting platforms are located two on each side of the mentioned container. Each quarter sphere smoothly radiates into a vertical wall, and the main large hemisphere radiates into a vertical wall between the mounting platforms, and the flat vertical parts of the wall have solid vertical stiffeners, three on each side, passing through from bottom to top and made in a semicircular section. Longitudinal stiffeners having a semicircular cross-section are made at the bottom, and in the central part of the bottom below its plane, a pocket is made for mounting the inner ledge of the drain pipe, and the neck is made with a two-tier base. The mentioned container is made of polyethylene using a rotoformer with the formation of a single monolithic shell structure.
