SUBSTANCE: invention is plastic jar having a body, walls, a bottom and a leg. The jar is intended for use on sealing lines designed for sealing metal jars. The plastic jar is made of polymeric materials, includes a neck, a flange, a body and a bottom. In this case, the neck is formed by tilting the upper part of the body walls outward. The walls of the central part of the housing are parallel to each other. The bottom of the jar is located at a distance from the bottom edge of the leg of the jar, the lower part of the jar narrows towards the centre of the jar.

EFFECT: creation of a plastic jar, which is an analogue of a metal jar, which is completely or with minimal modifications to the seaming lines suitable for use in automatic, semi-automatic and manual sealing lines and can be sealed with any metal lid that is capable of sealing a metal jar.
