FIELD: cryogenics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryogenic equipment, namely, to low-duty hydrogen liquefiers. Low-duty hydrogen liquefier comprises an upper cover connected by a flange to the body; a preliminary warm zone heat exchanger made of nine copper tubes soldered together and coiled into a spiral; a liquid hydrogen collector, wherein the main cold zone heat exchanger made of four copper tubes soldered together and coiled into a spiral is located concentrically around said collector; and a liquid nitrogen bath. According to the invention, the preliminary warm zone heat exchanger, the liquid hydrogen collector, the main cold zone heat exchanger, and the liquid nitrogen bath, located in the body, are mounted on the inner surface of the cover thereof, and the collector and copper tubes of the main heat exchanger are located coaxially to the annular bath with liquid nitrogen in the space defined by the inner walls thereof.
EFFECT: invention increases the reliability and effectiveness due to the intensified heat exchange between the coil of the liquid nitrogen bath and the liquid nitrogen.
