FIELD: cryogenic technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryogenic technology, can be used for the production and storage of multi-tonnage liquid hydrogen. The cryogenic hydrogen liquefaction system consists of a hydrogen liquefaction unit made in the form of a compressor that pushes the hydrogen production flow, a nitrogen cooling unit, a hydrogen liquefaction unit in the form of five regenerative heat exchangers, three adiabatic hydrogen vapor converters and two throttle valves, one of which is installed on the liquid hydrogen delivery line to the liquid hydrogen storage, and a helium refrigeration unit as part of a compressor, a nitrogen pre-cooling unit, a helium cooling unit. In the hydrogen liquefaction unit, a multi-stage steam ejector unit is installed in front of the booster compressor. All ejector stages are connected in parallel to the steam supply collector, the first ejector stage is connected to a hydrogen gas tank connected to a source of hydrogen gas, and the end ejector stage is connected to a booster compressor, which is made without lubrication and is connected to the gas tank through a control valve, and through a flow meter to a nitrogen cooling unit. The unit is equipped with a liquid hydrogen supercooling unit made in the form of a cryogenic tank with a heat exchanger located inside the tank and connected to the liquid hydrogen delivery line. A second multistage steam ejector unit is installed in the helium refrigeration unit.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the reliability, fire and explosion safety and efficiency of the cryogenic system, to increase the period of drainage-free storage of hydrogen.
