FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of measuring the flow rate and characteristics of gas transported through gas pipelines, and can be applied when creating a gas measuring station of a main gas pipeline. The subject of the invention is a measuring complex containing a flow meter (2) built into an underground gas pipeline (3) coaxially with the inlet (4) and outlet (5) straight sections, and a system (6) for measuring gas quality. The system (6) together with the flow meter (2) is enclosed in a caisson (7) with the possibility of power supply from an autonomous power supply source (9). The power supply of the flow meter (2) and the system (6) is carried out using a battery (8), recharged from the autonomous power supply source (9). The source (9) can be made using the energy of the gas discharged by the system (6), or using solar panels, or a low-power wind generator. The source (9) using the energy of the gas discharged by the system (6) can be made in the form of a gas piston or electrochemical generator.
EFFECT: reduction in energy consumption and an increase in the reliability of the complex while maintaining the accuracy of measurements with the possibility of power supply from a low–power autonomous power source, independence from power supply lines, the possibility of free placement on the gas pipeline route away from power grid facilities.
