FIELD: thermometry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermometry and can be used to measure the temperature of fast-flowing high-temperature processes in gas dynamics under the influence of increased vibration loads. A device for measuring the temperature of gas flows is proposed, containing a protective metal perforated tip, a thermocouple passing in a metal housing, the protruding part of which is made in the form of a metal tube with a diameter of d and ending with a flattened blade, the end of which is a thermal junction, the metal tube has a diameter decreasing towards the flattened blade, equal to 0.4÷0.5 d directly in front of the blade, a flattened blade has the following dimensions: length 0.3÷0.4 d, width 0.7÷0.8 d, thickness 0.1÷0.2 d. At the same time, thermal wires are placed inside the metal tube, isolated from each other and from the tube passing into the flattened blade and having a diameter decreasing in proportion to the decrease in the diameter of the tube and remaining constant inside the flattened blade. A metal housing is introduced from the side of the incoming gas flow, having a thread on which a cone-shaped nozzle is screwed, the top reaching the base of the blade and ending with a sealed flaring at its base, and inside the cone-shaped nozzle is filled with a compacted thermo- and electrically insulating powder filling.

EFFECT: increase in the mechanical strength and stability of the thermocouple by eliminating the destruction of the protruding body of the tapering metal tube of the thermocouple under the influence of vibration and gas dynamic loads while maintaining the speed of the device.
