FIELD: molded fuel briquettes manufacture.

SUBSTANCE: invention describes a single-screw extruder for the manufacture of molded fuel briquettes from shredded waste from woodworking, sawmilling, as well as the pulp and paper and wood chemical industries. The press extruder is made in the form of a two-chamber housing, one of the chambers of which is a loading chamber equipped with a profiling matrix head, and in the second chamber, the main shaft is mounted on bearing supports, rigidly connected to the screw working body, consisting of loading and pressing screws.

EFFECT: productivity of the press increases by optimizing the distribution of the power load between the individual zones of the pressing unit, which is a consequence of design changes in the main pressing elements, and the reliability and durability of the pressing unit is increased, that is, the working life of the pressing conical auger, as well as the conical pressing bushings, is increased; a productivity of about 2 t/h was achieved, and the continuous operation of the pressing screw, without its restoration, is estimated at 150 t of the finished briquette.
