FIELD: high-speed vessels.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of the device for the propulsion and steering complex of high-speed vessels. Partially submerged disc propulsion in the steering guide nozzle is a design of the device for the propulsion and steering complex of high-speed vessels, which consists of a disc, the hub of which is fixed on the propeller shaft. The shaft rotates in a tubular stock in one of the directions, providing the forward or reverse course of the vessel. The stock rotates in the stern tube of a typical stern gear located in the surface part of the ship's stern skeg. The bottom rounding of the skeg repeats the outer radius of the disc rim, and the blades located on the rim go beyond the dimensions of the skeg into the oncoming flow and are protected by the lower half ring of the guide nozzle, and the upper wide half ring of the steering guide nozzle is connected by means of a tiller with a tubular stock and when it turns into one or another side with its bent edge enters the oncoming flow from one of the sides, creates a lateral force, performs the function of a rudder and localizes splash formation. To protect the propeller from contact with the ground, the steering nozzle does not go beyond the ship's draft dimensions. The rotation of the propeller shaft and the rotation of the stock of the propulsion and steering complex is carried out around a common axis.
EFFECT: high technical and operational characteristics are achieved.
