FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion devices, in particular, to propulsion complexes of screw-nozzle type of underwater object, and can be used as a propulsor of an underwater object, by forming a jet and creating a driving longitudinal force. Propulsion system of underwater object comprises propeller screws and nozzle. Number of screws can be from 2 to 5, hubs of which are located in one plane on one line, on a curve or at vertices of a rectangle. Screws are made alternately of right and left rotation, variable pitch, which can be identical and different in value and direction, created by stop. Each screw has its own mechanism for changing the screw pitch. Common reduction gear provides synchronous rotation of screws, note here that screws are fitted in nozzle enveloping screws disk space with minimum clearance of not more than 0.5% of propeller screw diameter between blade ends and nozzle body. Propeller screw disc intersects with propeller screw disc on parallel shaft, and the axes of the shafts are located at a distance which provides a gap between the screw hub and the blade tip of the propeller screw on the parallel shaft.
EFFECT: higher controllability of underwater vehicle, thrust and propulsive efficiency of propeller screw, higher power efficiency at all speeds.
