FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering; it can be used in the operation of hydraulic drive and lubricating devices. A device for the purification of waste oil from metal impurities consists of a container with a sealed lid, a filter, and a drain tap. The container of stainless steel with a wall thickness of 3 mm is connected via a pipeline and a coarse filter to a pump supplying engine oil under pressure P=0.5-0.6 MPa to an oil-charging chamber. Inside the chamber, in braiding of fluoroplastic, a mesh of copper is stationary fixed, connected via an electric wire to a power supply source. The pipeline provides supply of an engine oil flow to a mixing chamber on a screw of dielectric material, stationary fixed inside it, and then to a fine filter.
EFFECT: purification of waste engine oil from metal impurities is provided in a single technological chain under special, namely, field conditions for reuse.
