SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to vehicles, in particular to a disc brake system containing a disc brake node consisting of a disc and two brake pads. Brake pad (10A, 10B) for disc brake node (9) contains overlay (22) of friction material and plate (20) supporting it, overlay (22) has friction (30) and mounting (32) surfaces; rear edge (34) located on a side, from which disc (9) is capable of exiting a zone of contact with pad (10A, 10B), when disc (9) is rotated in the direction of movement ahead the vehicle, and front edge (36); inner (38) and outer (39) edges; and collecting groove (3) opened on friction surface (30) and located near rear edge (34), wherein collecting groove (3) passes into inner edge (38) or outer edge (39); plate (20) has hole (17) communicating via fluid with collecting groove (3) and connected to a vacuum source via connecting means (40), wherein overlay (22) has rear area (60) with rear edge (34) and collecting groove (3) and front area (62) with front edge (36), while front area (62) has beveled section (66) made so that the area of the friction surface of front area (62) is increased, while the thickness of front area (62) is decreased.

EFFECT: creation of a brake pad for a disc brake node, providing constant operational characteristics for the entire time.
