FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to brake pads for a disc brake assembly. Pad comprises a pad and a plate supporting it. Said pad has friction and fastening surfaces, rear, front, inner and outer edges and collecting groove. Collecting groove extends into inner or outer edge. Plate has a hole in fluid communication with the collecting groove and connected to a vacuum source through a connecting means. Pad has a skewed section of the rear area of the pad. Bevelled section is made so that the area of the friction surface of the rear area increases as the thickness of this rear area decreases. Collecting groove is located at a distance from the free surface of the skewed section and has a cross-section passing inclined to the free surface of the skewed section. Disc brake assembly comprises a disc and two brake shoes located on both sides of the disc. Disc braking system comprises disc braking unit, in which disc is attached to axle or wheel.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance.
