FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to deformable materials based on aluminium, and can be used in the production of wire designed to operate in a wide temperature range, up to 400°C. The method for producing aluminium alloy wire includes obtaining an aluminium-based melt containing manganese, copper and zirconium at a temperature exceeding the liquidus temperature, obtaining a cast billet by melt crystallization, obtaining a wire by deformation of a cast billet, intermediate and final annealing of the wire, while in the melt is injected, wt.%: copper from 3.0 to 4.0, manganese from 2.4 to 3.0, zirconium from 0.4 to 0.6, a cast billet in the form of a rod with a diameter of 8 to 12 mm is obtained by crystallization melt with a cooling rate of at least 1000°C/s, deformation of the cast billet is carried out by cold drawing, the wire is subjected to intermediate annealing at a temperature of 300-350°C for 2-6 hours and final annealing at a temperature of 360-410°C for 1- 10 hours.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at obtaining an aluminium alloy wire, which ensures the achievement of the following set of physical and mechanical properties after 3 hours of heating at 400°C: tensile strength exceeds 360 MPa, yield strength - 330 MPa, relative elongation - 5%, electrical conductivity - more 44% IACS.
