FIELD: recycled water processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multi-stage methods for processing recycled water for its subsequent use in the technological cycle at non-ferrous metallurgy enterprises or discharge to relief. The method for purification of cyanide-containing effluents from gold mining enterprises includes filtration, reverse osmosis purification and chemical purification from impurities. Initially, mechanical impurities are removed from the source water by alluvial filtration with filter powder. Antiscalant is added to the clarified filtrate obtained and subjected to two-stage purification by reverse osmosis. After purification by reverse osmosis, the flow in the form of permeate is sent to chemical purification. At the stage of chemical treatment, a solution of sodium hydroxide is fed into the stream to a pH of 11, after which a solution of sodium hypochlorite is fed into it. After a negative analysis for cyanide ions, the excess alkali is neutralized with concentrated sulfuric acid to a pH of 7-8. Next, pressurized water is pumped through activated carbon.

EFFECT: high degree of purification of cyanide-containing effluents and the return of precious metals to the technological process of gold mining enterprises are ensured.
