FIELD: thermal power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the field of energy at thermal power plants in the utilization of low-potential heat of circulating water by a heat pump in order to increase energy efficiency. Utilization of low-potential heat from the cooling water of the steam turbine condenser is carried out by heat extraction using a heat pump evaporator, which is connected to the discharge path of the condenser water cooling, followed by the transfer of the selected heat to the water of the intermediate circuit, and then to low-pressure heaters for heating the condensate, while the existing regenerative steam supply will be disconnected by installing shut-off devices. To implement the method, the heat pump evaporator is connected to the water cooling outlet of the steam turbine condenser, and the heat pump condenser is connected to the receiving heat exchanger of the intermediate circuit.
EFFECT: due to the installation of this device on the cooling water discharge path, the condensation temperature decreases to the design level and the power of the electric generator increases, therefore, the energy efficiency of the steam power plant increases.
