FIELD: energy engineering.
SUBSTANCE: renewable energy, namely installations for converting the energy of a gas or liquid flow into mechanical or electrical. The rotor of the installation for converting the energy of the axial gas or liquid flow is divided by transverse planes into coaxial sections. Adaptation of the rotor is carried out for different operating conditions by changing the speed with the help of braking electromagnetic converters or if the speeds of the mutual position of rotation of the coaxial sections are equal. The slightly broken electromagnetic converter uses a sectional rotor, each containing rigidly connected to a separate section of the rim with permanent magnets installed in the grooves in a circle, and stator strength belts containing windings that carry out electromagnetic interaction with the rotor magnets under the control of a system for joint control of the rotation of each section of the rotor with accuracy to the phase. The control system generates slightly broken effects in the form of short-term impulse connections of certain windings to the payload at the appropriate time points, which allows mechanical adaptive effects to be carried out simultaneously with the selection of the energy of the rotor rotation.
EFFECT: possibility of adapting the rotor to operating conditions.
