SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry, and in particular to a method for the quantitative determination of borneol and its esters in an oil extract of coniferous tree greens by gas chromatography. The method for the quantitative determination of borneol and its esters in the oil extract of coniferous tree greens by gas chromatography includes sample preparation of the analyzed sample and chromatography of the resulting solution, while using a capillary column with a size of 50 m × 0.32 mm and a stationary phase layer thickness of 0.5 mcm, containing polyethylene glycol modified with nitroterephthalic acid, the initial temperature of the column thermostat of 120°C is maintained for 3.5 minutes, then the thermostat is heated at a rate of 5°C/min to a temperature of 130°C and this temperature is maintained for 13 minutes, after which heating the thermostat at a rate of 5°C/min to 250°C and maintaining this temperature for 2 min, nitrogen is used as the carrier gas, the carrier gas flow rate is set at 1 cm3/min, a flow split of 1:20 is applied, 0.2 mcl of the resulting solution is injected into the evaporator with a microsyringe, a calibration dependence is built for borneol in dia range 1.0-10.0%, which calculate the content of borneol, bornylacetate and isobornyl acetate.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of simultaneous quantitative determination of borneol (1.0-80.0%), bornyl acetate (1.0-80.0%) and isobornyl acetate (0.1-1.0%).
