FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of fastening structures on the roof of a vehicle. The fastening device for fixing the structure to the roof rails of the vehicle has two fastening units. The fastening units of the mentioned fastening device are designed to attach the structure to the corresponding one of the rails and contain two platforms and a mounting support. Platforms for their attachment to the railing can be rotated relative to it and with \moved along the railing with a change in the mounting distance between the platforms. The mounting support has ends in the form of semicircles. Recesses are located on the end sides of the semicircles of the support. The mounting support is made with the possibility of hinged connection with platforms with rotation around the axis located in the center of the semicircle of the support. Each platform has a locking element located with the possibility of its engagement with the corresponding recess of the support for fixing the fastening unit on the railing.
EFFECT: ensuring reliable fastening of the structure on the roof of the vehicle.
