FIELD: display technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information devices mounted on the roof of a vehicle and components of information devices and can be used to protect the display of an information device from environmental influences. In particular, a housing (2) is proposed to protect an information device (1) having at least one display (3) from environmental influences, made in the form of a closed spatial frame containing at least one mounting plate (4) located on the side surface of the display (3). The specified plate has in its one part adjacent to the display (3) or in each of its two parts adjacent to the two displays (3) a longitudinal groove (6) for placing the corresponding display (3) with its information surface outside the housing (2), at least one groove (7) for placing the display (3) cable and at least one channel (8) for heat removal from the display (3). Moreover, the plate (4) is made with the possibility of attaching to it a panel sealing the inside of the housing.

EFFECT: increase in the service life of the information device display due to the prevention of contamination and/or corrosion, as well as timely cooling of LED screens.
