FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to a preparation in the form of rectal gel for the treatment of acute kidney injury. The saponin B4 preparation of Pulsatilla chinensis in the form of rectal gel for the treatment of acute kidney injury has pH value of 6~7 and contains effective amount of saponin B4 of Pulsatilla chinensis and a pharmaceutically acceptable base containing Carbopol, a humidifier, a pH-regulating agent, and water. A method for the production of the saponin B4 preparation of Pulsatilla chinensis in the form of rectal gel includes following operations: saponin B4 of Pulsatilla chinensis is dissolved in water and filtered; the specified pharmaceutically acceptable base and the humidifier are added in mixing to obtain a homogenous dispersion; the specified pH-regulating agent is added for bringing pH to 6~7 to obtain rectal gel. Moreover, the specified production method includes following operations: according to a given mass ratio, Carbopol 941, glycerin, triethanolamine, and water are proposed for the use; saponin B4 of Pulsatilla chinensis is prepared according to the content of active substance in rectal gel; saponin B4 of Pulsatilla chinensis is dissolved in water and filtered to obtain an aqueous solution of saponin B4 of Pulsatilla chinensis; to the resulting solution, in mixing, Carbopol 941 is slowly added, and the mixture is carefully mixed; the mixture is additionally mixed, and glycerin is added; finally, triethanolamine is added to bring pH to 6-7; mixing is carried out until the swelling is uniform, providing obtaining rectal gel. The use of the saponin B4 preparation of Pulsatilla chinensis in the form of rectal gel in the manufacture of drugs for the treatment of acute kidney injury is also described.
EFFECT: above-described preparation provides for improved bioavailability, it is characterized by a lower effective dose, and it has a better therapeutic effect for the treatment of acute kidney injury.
