FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of wire on multiple drawing tools. The drawing tool contains pressure and working draw rings sequentially clamped in the housing and sealing ring-shaped gaskets located between the draw rings. An additional sealing die is placed in front of the first pressure draw ring. Pressure dies form pressure gaps with the workpiece, providing a lubrication pressure that reaches the value of the deformation resistance of the workpiece metal before the first working die. The last pressure die forms a pressure gap with the workpiece, the value of which is 1.5 times the thickness of the lubricating layer in the final working die. The first pressure die forms a pressure gap with the workpiece, providing an initial lubrication pressure of 14.7 MPa. Sealing ring-shaped gaskets are placed in the free part of the grooves of the mandrels, in which the dies are pressed.
EFFECT: as a result, the drawing effort is reduced, the wear resistance of the working dies is increased and the manufacture and assembly of the tool is simplified.
