METHOD FOR PREVENTION OF REPERFUSION COMPLICATIONS IN PATIENTS SURGERY FOR ACUTE LOWER LIMB ISCHEMIA Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61K31/573 A61K31/194 A61P41/00 A61P9/14

Abstract RU 2778351 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery and intensive care, and can be used to prevent reperfusion complications in patients operated on for acute ischemia of the lower extremities. The method consists in using dexamethasone as a vasoactive drug, which is administered intravenously in a dose of 8 mg in 200 ml of an isotonic sodium chloride solution, and then Reamberin is administered as an antioxidant drug in a dose of 400 ml (a solution of 1.5%, intravenously), both drugs are used in a course of 4 to 6 days after reconstructive surgery. The proposed method allows not only to improve the results of postoperative treatment of patients with acute ischemia of the lower extremities, but also to reduce mortality from 31% with traditional therapy to 4%, reduce the incidence of complications of both infectious and inflammatory origin, such as gangrene from 30% when using traditional therapy up to 4%; such as sepsis from 10% in patients with basic therapy to 2%; wound suppuration is reduced from 10% to 2%, respectively.

EFFECT: treatment with dexamethasone and reamberin reduces the number of amputations from 32% in patients with basic therapy to 8%, and reduces the duration of treatment at discharge from an average of 13 to 9 bed days.
