FIELD: starch production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wave method for producing carboxymethylated starch, including the interaction of starch with modifiers: water, monochloroacetic acid and sodium hydroxide in the mode of wave turbulence of the dust-air mixture in the reaction chamber of the reactor, characterized in that an aqueous solution of monochloroacetic acid - MCA is preliminarily prepared at a ratio of MCA and water 1:(2-3) and an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide - NaOH at a ratio of NaOH and water 1:(8-12), and the interaction of starch with modifiers is carried out in the reaction chambers of two similar reactors, starch is fed into the reaction chamber of the first reactor, and in the mode of wave turbulization of the dusty-air mixture, an aqueous solution of MCA is introduced, the resulting semi-finished product is fed into the reaction chamber of the second reactor, into which an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide is introduced in the mode of wave turbulence of the dusty-air mixture, at a ratio of 100 wt.h. starch: aqueous solution of monochloroacetic acid - 12-24; aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide - 48-120. The invention also relates to a plant for implementing the wave method for producing carboxymethylated starch, containing a reactor, in the reaction chamber of which a mixing element is located, an electric motor located outside the reaction chamber and kinematically connected to the mixing element, and a torsional vibration drive of the reaction chamber, kinematically connected to the reactor housing for creating torsional vibrations of the reaction chamber around its axis, characterized in that the plant is additionally equipped with a control unit, chambers for the preparation of modifiers: an aqueous solution of monochloroacetic acid and an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide, devices for loading starch and withdrawing the reaction product, as well as a second reactor with a reaction chamber, inside which the mixing element is located, and an electric motor located outside the reaction chamber and kinematically connected to the mixing element, and a torsional vibration drive re action chamber, and each reactor is equipped with a screw feeder equipped with an electric motor kinematically connected to the screw feeder, a torsional vibration drive of the screw feeder housing and a liquid feeder, and the modifier preparation chambers are connected to the liquid feeders of the first and second reactors, while the first reactor is connected to the second with using the receiver through the screw feeder of the second reactor.
