FIELD: nuclear reactors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nuclear reactor. The reactor includes a reactor tank, a reactor core, a control drum assembly, a hot channel, a heat exchanger, and a main pump. The reactor tank contains a coolant; the reactor core is located in the lower middle part of the reactor tank; the control drum assembly is located on the outer periphery of the reactor core and includes a plurality of control drums. Each of the drums can rotate around its center, and are placed at a distance from each other along the peripheral direction of the reactor core. The hot channel is located in the reactor tank and is located above the core, has a lower part hermetically connected to the control drum assembly, and an upper part hermetically connected to the inner upper surface of the reactor tank. The hot channel has a hot reservoir passage through which the coolant passes. The heat exchanger is located in the reactor tank and is located on the outer periphery of the hot channel, and the heat exchanger inlet is in communication with the hot tank passage. The main pump and heat exchanger are attached to the cover body, the part of the main pump is located in the hot tank passage.
EFFECT: compactness and smaller volume of a design.
