FIELD: ball elements detection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for detecting and positioning ball elements intended for refueling a high-temperature gas-cooled nuclear reactor with ball fuel elements. The device for detecting and positioning ball elements includes a pressure-resistant housing, an inner element and an actuator. The housing includes a container body, one adapter pipe for the inlet of balls and two transition pipes for the release of balls, respectively located on the container body. The inner member is mounted in a countersunk rotor bore and includes an intermediate ring and a stop ring. The executive part includes a turntable and two support arms.
EFFECT: invention provides the ability of the device to perform the function of automatic material separation, accurate positioning and directional transportation of ball fuel elements, ensures a compact design and ease of control of the device for detecting and positioning ball elements with its operational reliability and maintainability for long-term and short-term operation in a highly radioactive environment.
