Thermogas-chemical composition for the production of high-viscosity oil contains, wt.%: sodium nitrite 27.8; ammonium nitrate 32.2; copper sulfate 0.12; water the rest. In the method for the production of high-viscosity oil, a well is used, which has the first and second open zones on a horizontal or inclined section, and the above-mentioned thermal gas-chemical composition for the production of high-viscosity oil.

EFFECT: increased coverage of the treatment zone, increased oil recovery, no need for equipment for preliminary heating of the reservoir, maintaining the concentration of the injected thermogas chemical composition, the ability to control the quality of mixing of the components of the thermogas chemical composition due to the fact that mixing occurs on the surface before injection into the well.
