FIELD: water quality control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water quality control, in particular for continuous control of oil-containing impurities in running waste water and removal of accumulated oil. The device contains control means equipped with an electrode system, mounted on a bypass of a pipeline supplying waste water, and a shut-off valve. The pipeline bypass is located horizontally and is made of two rigidly connected tees with a diameter corresponding to a diameter of a main pipeline. Free ends of tees are rigidly connected through adapters and taps to a closed pipe, on which a drain branch pipe and the shut-off valve are mounted. Electrodes are mounted before and after the closed pipe, forming a closed circuit with a controller. The length of the closed pipe is equal to four diameters of the closed pipe. Electrodes are made in the form of rods of stainless steel and are fixed with an oil seal with rubber cuffs, a mounting angle of electrodes relatively to each other is equal to 90-120°.
EFFECT: reduction in time of determination of oil residues in running water, simplification of a device and a process of determination of oil residues in running water, expansion of technological capabilities of determination of oil residues in running water.
