SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry and can be used to determine the gas factor of oil, as well as oil and water flow rates by mobile measuring units. A method for measuring the gas factor of oil is proposed, including the flow of oil well production into a measuring tank with a calibrated part, separating it into gas and liquid phases, successively withdrawing gas and liquid from the tank, measuring the liquid flow rate by the filling rate of the calibrated part of the tank, and the gas flow rate - by the rate of its emptying, measuring the hydrostatic pressure drop in the tank when its calibrated part is completely filled to determine the amount of water in the produced product, filling the settling chamber with a water-oil mixture at a given frequency, the upper part of which is connected to the gas outlet line from the tank, measuring the dissolved gas in the oil by its selection from the container. At the same time, at the end of the cycle of filling the calibrated part of the container with well products, the oil-water mixture is taken under pressure into the settling chamber from the upper level of the calibrated part of the container, after which a demulsifier is introduced into the chamber to separate the oil-water mixture, followed by draining the separated water under pressure from the lower part of the settling chamber to the moment oil appears in the drained liquid, which is then also taken under pressure into a device for determining dissolved gas in oil. Moreover, during the period of draining liquids from the settling chamber, the valve for extracting oil from the calibrated part of the container is left closed.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of measuring free and dissolved gas in oil in the presence of a significant amount of formation water in the well production.
