FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and can be used for determination of oil and water flow rates, as well as volumetric flow rate of free oil gas in production of oil well. Method includes supply of oil well product into measuring tank with calibrated part, its separation into gas and liquid phases, alternate gas extraction from upper part of separator capacity through gas discharge line and liquid from lower part of separator capacity, fluid flow rate is measured as per filling rate of the calibrated part of the reservoir, and the gas flow rate is determined from the rate of its emptying. Measurement of hydrostatic pressure drop in reservoir at complete filling of its calibrated part for switching of tank filling cycle to fluid drain cycle. At that, switching of liquid filling into separator tank for its subsequent drainage is performed upon achievement of specified hydrostatic pressure drop in separator tank, and in separator vessel pressure is increased above pressure in discharge manifold of well by installation on gas line of controlled throttle. Increase of pressure in separator tank is performed proportionally to reduction of amount of gas in extracted product, and at complete absence of gas in product gas discharge line is shut off completely.

EFFECT: technical result of the proposed method consists in reduction of time spent for measurements and increase of their accuracy in production of high-viscosity or highly water-saturated oil with low gas content.
