FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, and in particular to a method for manufacturing a sheet of electrical steel with a grain-oriented structure used as a material for the manufacture of magnetic iron cores. The method includes decarburizing annealing a cold-rolled steel sheet containing Si to obtain a steel sheet having an oxygen content of 320 part by weight or less and a carbon content of 25 part by weight or less. The finishing annealing is carried out with heating of the steel sheet after the decarburization annealing in a state in which the surface of the steel sheet after the decarburization annealing is covered with an annealing cage to effect secondary recrystallization in the steel sheet. The annealing separator is removed from the steel sheet that is subjected to the finish annealing process to obtain a finish annealed steel sheet. An intermediate layer and an insulating coating are formed to obtain an electrical steel sheet containing an intermediate layer containing silicon oxide as a main component and formed without forsterite finishing annealing coating on the surface of the base steel sheet, and containing an insulating coating on the surface of the intermediate layer.

EFFECT: sheets produced have excellent magnetic characteristics.
