FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for downhole production of high-viscosity oil from an oil deposit with a gas cap. The method includes drilling two wells with horizontal wellbores using the technology of gravity drainage of heated oil using steam. The horizontal wellbore of the first well is located at the gas-oil contact of the reservoir and is used for injection of high temperature water vapor. The horizontal wellbore of the second well is located below the middle of the oil-saturated interval of the productive formation and is used for the selection of heated oil. The formation of a steam-gas-water mixture above the gas-oil contact provides a low phase permeability for the gas cap gas.
EFFECT: eliminating the possibility of gas breakthrough through the gas-oil contact into the horizontal wellbore of the production well and increasing the oil recovery factor of the high-viscosity oil deposit.
