FIELD: corrosion protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of corrosion protection and can be used in various industries to protect metal equipment from corrosion damage. A method is proposed for producing a metal corrosion inhibitor by mixing an aqueous solution of a phosphorus-containing inorganic acid with compounds containing metal cations of the 6th group of the Periodic Table of Elements and compounds containing nickel cations. An aqueous solution of a phosphorus-containing inorganic acid is preheated to 50-70°C, compounds containing titanium cations are added to the compounds containing metal cations, the resulting mixture is evenly heated to a temperature of 70-200°C and kept under stirring for 2-5 hours, after which the mixture is uniformly cooled to a temperature of 18-23°C.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain an inhibitor with an increased protective effect against corrosion of stainless steels at elevated temperatures in media containing phosphoric acid.
