FIELD: liquefied natural gas transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices of systems for overflow and transportation of liquefied natural gas and is intended for automatic disconnection of a stander with inlet and outlet pipes of pipelines in case of an emergency. A breakaway clutch is proposed, which includes two valves connected to each other by a clamp, a mechanical disconnector with a drive, each valve contains a main and an auxiliary body; a ball with a fluid passageway; two sealing circuits - primary and secondary, consisting of a group of springs, a ball-seat seal and a ring-seat seal of a different configuration for each circuit, pressed by means of a group of springs to the surface of the ball, ring and seat, having a different configuration for each seal circuit. In case of loss of tightness of the primary seal circuit in the closed position, the secondary seal circuit is designed to maintain the tightness of the breakaway clutch due to the pressing force arising due to the pressure difference on the end faces of the elements and the gaps between the elements of the seal circuit that are structurally provided.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the hermetic connection when the coupling is disconnected and increasing the service life of the device by introducing a second seal circuit and equipping the clamp latch with a shear pin, and the different design of the primary and secondary seals allows them to work sequentially - if the primary seal loses tightness, the secondary circuit is triggered.
