FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is an engine-driven compressor equipped with multiple compression sections, containing: at least one body (2); at least two drive shafts (5, 6) supported so as to be able to rotate in the body by at least two bearings (8, 9, 10, 11); a flexible connector (7) connecting the drive shafts; an electric engine (12) installed on the first compressor shaft (5) from said at least two drive shafts; and at least two compression sections (13, 14). The first compression section (13) from said at least two compression sections is cantilevered at the free end of the first compressor shaft from said at least two drive shafts, and the second compression section (14) is installed between the two bearings (10, 11) on the second compressor shaft (6) from said at least two drive shafts.
EFFECT: creation of an engine-driven multishaft compressor.
