FIELD: sealing.

SUBSTANCE: sealing device (2) is described for connection of two connectable elements (4, 6), in particular made in the form of a mono-pile and an adapter, of an offshore structure, mostly an offshore wind power plant, in particular its base, in which upper connectable element (4) and lower connectable element (6), for obtaining a stable connection, are inserted one into another with clamping between them of at least one seal (8, 8'). The device contains one of connectable elements (4, 6) and at least one seal (8, 8') fixed on this connecting element (4, 6) in such a way that seal (8, 8'), in a connected position, is located between inner connecting surface (10) of one connectable element (4, 6) and outer connecting surface (12) of another connectable element (4, 6), wherein at least one seal (8, 8') has at least one elastic sealing element (14) passing in a circumferential direction along the entire circumference, thickness (D) of which is increased compared to thickness (D') of a seal section adjacent to it. The invention also relates to a method for the manufacture of a sealing device.

EFFECT: improvement of a connection of two connectable elements without the use of a cement mortar and/or rivets and screws is achieved.
