SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a filter or a filtering element for tobacco smoke, its production method, and a smoking product including such a filter or a filtering element. The filter or the filtering element for tobacco smoke includes a central part of material for filtration of tobacco smoke, passing in a longitudinal direction, the first wrapper around the central part and the second wrapper around the first wrapper. The first wrapper limits together with the second wrapper at least one channel passing in a longitudinal direction of the filter or the filtering element, where the specified or each channel passing in a longitudinal direction has a length of less than a full length of the filter or the filtering element in such a way that part of the filter or the filtering element, passing in a transverse direction, does not have channels passing in a longitudinal direction. The filter or the filtering element additionally includes only one container for releasing an additive, where the container for releasing the additive is within the part of the filter or the filtering element, passing in a longitudinal direction, which does not contain channels passing in a longitudinal direction. The container for releasing the additive is a capsule and contains an additive in the form of a flavoring agent.
