SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a filtering element, a smoking product with a filter, and a method for the manufacture of a filtering element. The filtering element contains a hollow rod of filtering material, passing in a longitudinal direction, having inner and outer surfaces. The inner surface limits at least one channel passing in a longitudinal direction, which passes along the entire length of the filtering element. A distance between inner and outer surfaces is 1 mm or less. Filtering material of the filtering material contains plasticizer, amount of which in filtering material is from 15 to 19% of the total weight of filtering material and plasticizer.

EFFECT: possibility of the manufacture of a thin-wall filtering element of a tubular shape, containing small amount of plasticizer, while saving necessary structural rigidity, and elimination of void formation in a filter.
