FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the technique of measuring ionizing radiation. Determination of the absolute values of the spectral densities of the measured flux is achieved by including two identical detectors sensitive to low-energy neutrons in the detection unit, one of which does not have a cadmium shield, and the second is equipped with a cadmium shield, which makes it possible to use the cadmium difference method to determine the absolute value of the thermal component of the measured neutron flux and comparing it with the normalized value of this the component determined by the responses of the neural network, find the coefficient of correspondence between them, which is the same for all spectral components of the measured flow.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of measuring the spectra of neutron fluxes with a diverse form of their energy spectra.
