FIELD: optical fiber.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems and methods for optical fibers, more specifically to tips and node assemblies of a tip for optical fibers, and systems and methods for increasing the accuracy of alignment of fiber, tip and clamp, thereby improving the retention of a line of sight (LOS). The claimed node assembly for optical fibers contains: (i) a clamping device containing at least one area of attachment of a clamp of the clamping device; and (ii) a tip. In this case, the tip contains: the first part, which is at least partially symmetrical relatively to the main axis, wherein the specified first part is fused onto optical fiber at its proximal end in such a way that its main axis is made with the possibility of alignment with the optical axis of an optical fiber bundle; and the second part connected to a distal end of the specified first part, wherein the specified second part contains the main part and a protruding element, which protrudes from the specified first part, thereby forming a protruding connecting area, which is perpendicular to the main axis, for attachment of the specified tip to the area of attachment of the clamp of the clamping device, wherein the specified area of attachment of the clamp is perpendicular to the specified main axis. Moreover, the specified tip is inserted at least partially inside the specified clamping device, and it also keeps the specified optical fiber bundle aligned and minimizes angular deviation from the initial alignment.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of alignment and its duration in various extreme conditions.
