FIELD: communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre-optic connectors used in fibre-optic communication systems. Fibre-optic connector comprises tip assembly with adapter sleeve of tip and spring tip. Tip has end surface of distal end, available on distal end of body of connector. Tip can move in proximal direction relative to housing of connector from distal position to proximal position. Distal and proximal positions are separated from each other by distance of axial movement. Proximal motion of tip is performed, avoiding displacement created spring tip. Fibre-optic cable assembly unit includes optical fibre cable inside shell. Fibre-optic cable also comprises reinforcing layer between optical fibre and shell cable. Reinforcing layer is attached to housing of connector. Optical fibre passes through fibre-optic connector from proximal end of body of the connector to tip. Optical fibre has distal section filling inside tip. Channel for fibre has region of tension of fibre, through which optical fibre is passing. Area of tension of fibre is made with possibility of tension of excessive length of the optical fibre, which corresponds to that of axial movement of the tip.
EFFECT: technical result is prevention of inadmissible bending optical cable.
