SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an extraction bag for obtaining an extraction liquid by filling the main body of a bag made of a water-permeable filtering sheet immersed in hot water with extraction material. The extraction bag 1A contains the main body 3 of the bag made of a water-permeable filtering sheet 2; a pair of thin plate elements 10A and 10B provided on the outer surfaces of two opposite sides of the main body 3 of the bag; and extraction material M, packaged in the main body 3 of the bag. On each of the corresponding external surfaces of the main body 3 of the bag, thin plate elements 10A, 10B contain an upper edge section 11 attached to the upper part of the main body 3 of the bag, a gripper 12, which is made solid with the upper edge section 11 through the fold line La and runs from the fold line La to the lower edge 3b of the main body 3 of the bag, and a leg section 13 extending from the upper edge 3a of the main body 3 of the bag to the lower edge 3b of the main body 3 of the bag. The upper edge 11a of the upper edge section is located flush with the upper edge 3a of the main body 3 of the bag, and the gripper 12 is designed to fold up along the fold line La so that its front end protrudes relative to the upper edge 3a of the main body 3 of the bag.
EFFECT: ensuring that hot water can pass through the entire extraction material in the main body of 3 the bag, thereby easily extracting the extraction liquid in sufficient concentration.
