SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear energy, in particular to the thermal insulation of pipelines and equipment of reactor plants. Block thermal insulation of a reflective type for pipelines or equipment of reactor plants is proposed, containing 2 removable boxes 3 installed with an air gap around the outer surface of the pipeline or equipment and fastened with quick tension locks, made of thin-sheet stainless steel, inside which multilayer heat-insulating packages are placed, consisting of separated air gaps of thin sheets 4 corrosion-resistant poked stainless steel. Along the entire perimeter, at the end joints between the removable boxes 3, the thermal insulation is provided with pads 5 installed outside with an air gap, made in the form of a set of sheets of pulverized thin-sheet stainless steel. Horizontal sections of pipelines or structures of reactor plants are equipped with supports 6 and a protective casing 7 installed above the block thermal insulation. Removable boxes 3 are recessed for mounting the removable box on the upper part of the support 6 with the formation of a technological gap between the support and the removable box adjacent to it, in which sealing inserts 8 are installed. 3 horizontal support rings 9, and the multilayer package is divided by at least one transverse partition 10 installed perpendicular to the sheets of the multilayer package.

EFFECT: reduction of heat losses, simplification of installation, ensuring the reliability of the design, ensuring sanitary standards and safe operation of the block thermal insulation device.
