FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for purification of butyl alcohol hydrogenate. Purification of butyl alcohol hydrogenate is carried out in a distillation column with bubbling plates, at an absolute bottom pressure of 800-1177 mmHg, temperature of the top 83-100°C, input of raw materials into the column 80-115°C, cube 111-120°C, phlegm consumption 9.72-13.2 t/h. At the same time, the supply of desalinated water with a flow rate of 100-400 kg/h is organized in the column feed supplied to the 23rd - 27th plate, at which the consumption of the fraction taken from the top of the column is 1.5-9.0, wt. %, of the phlegm flow into the column. As a result, a cubic column product with a butenyl-butyl ether content of 0.02, wt. % and less is isolated.
EFFECT: purification of hydrogenate from esters, including butenyl-butyl, followed by the production of commercial butyl alcohols with a quality corresponding to the GOST national standard.
