FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a crane, in particular to a high-capacity crane. The crane is described, having frame (1), on which stand (6) rotating around the vertical axis is located, in which telescopically extended boom (9) rotating around the horizontal axis is mounted, consisting of several sections (12) inserted into each other with the possibility of movement in the axial direction, which, using a hydraulic drive device, are extended and retracted into each other. A movement measuring device is mated with telescopically extended boom (9), measuring the length of its extension, which is connected to an input of control unit (18) mated with the hydraulic drive device. At any selected extension length, all sections (12) can be extended to the corresponding prescribed part of their maximum extension length. High stability and capacity are provided due to that each section (12) has its own hydraulic cylinder system of corresponding power, which, in any individual case, is actuated regardless the other hydraulic cylinder systems, as well as due to that an extension program is embedded in control unit (18), made (21) in such a way that all sections (12) are extended separately one after another, and including a sequential switching scheme, according to which the extension of boom (9) starts from the extension of lower section (12) and continues sequentially through upper ones.
EFFECT: simplification of an extension program, and ease of operation.
