SUBSTANCE: separate modules of the safety system located on the non-extensible extensible sections of the boom are interconnected through a cable drum via a single-wire bidirectional multiplex communication line. In separate modules of the system containing information-measuring or information-control units, formation units and units for reception of successive digital signals, as well as units for integration of these signals with the multiplex communication line the inputs of reception and output of transmission of digital signals are combined, and the formation units and the units of reception of successive digital signals are made in the form of universal asynchronous transceivers. At reception of successive digital signals monitoring of the level of the signal in the single-wire communication line and synchronization of signal reception is effected.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the safety system and provided maximum possible boom extension.
