SUBSTANCE: present invention relates generally to an absorbent (100) for use in a garment. The absorbent component (100) contains: the first layered composite material (120) containing the first layer (122) of foam and the first layer (124) impervious to liquids; absorbent layered composite material (140) attached to the first layer (124), impermeable to liquids, and designed to absorb body fluids, and the second layer (164), impermeable to liquids and attached to the absorbent layered composite material (140 ) and to the first layered composite material (120) for holding body fluids absorbed by the absorbent layered composite material (140), while in the second layer (164), which is not permeable to liquids, an opening (166) is formed to receive body fluids in the absorbent layered composite material (140), and at the same time the first layer (122) of foam is molded to give a certain shape to the absorbent component (100).
